We plan for a lot of things,

but rarely for illness or end of life.

Family members and friends can offer support but sometimes needs extend beyond their reach.

The Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation provides assistance to individuals in South Carolina who are challenged by end of life issues.

Impact Story - We Support our Veterans!

08.19.2019

Did you know that HPCF supports Veterans receiving hospice services through our Need and Assistance Program? In 2019, we have provided assistance in the form of rent payments, utility bill payments, home improvements, supplements and food, clothing, and other critical needs not met through insurance. One patient that received support in the form of a lift chair shared that the chair has allowed him to stand and reach his walker more easily, and has greatly improved his quality of life. He told us that he has experienced a lot less pain since getting the chair, and has increased mobility, which has greatly improved his quality of life.
